International Service describes the activities that Rotarians undertake to advance international understanding, goodwill and peace. The spread of Rotary clubs across the globe allows for the concerted Rotary support of humanitarian efforts worldwide.
 
International Service
 
Ambassadorial Scholarship: Recruits students to apply for the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship program. If a candidate is identified, a Rotarian counselor is appointed to assist the scholar in completing the scholarship application form and preparing for club and district interviews.
 
Group Study Exchange: Hosts a group of 6-8 foreign business professionals while they are touring the Harrisburg area during a one-week period. .  Recruits candidates to sponsor for the outbound group study exchange team.
 
International Service Project:  Explores appropriate activities related to International Projects. 
 
Preserve Planet Earth: Supports the Rotary International initiative to promote awareness of global issues of environmental degradation among Rotarians and increase the number of Rotary environmental service projects.
 
Rotary Foundation: Encourages the growth of the number of Paul Harris Fellows and Sustaining Members.  Maintains records of individual contributions to the Rotary Foundation and presents Paul Harris Fellows awards to those achieving this distinction.
 
Water Management, Health & Hunger: Supports local & district humanitarian projects.
